I want therapy to be a place you enjoy and deserve

Taking the stigma from mental healthcare

Therapy is for any race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, or background. I truly believe anyone can benefit as long as they are entering with an open mind, desire for self exploration, and change. Often I hear that an individual’s experiences “aren’t serious enough” to need therapy, but in actuality, that’s false. You just need to be a human trying to make it in the world.

Talking about your story takes strength and bravery.

Another common stigma is mental health makes you “weak”. It’s quite the opposite; Facing mental health concerns, or just engaging in the process, takes so much courage and bravery.

Therapy is hard work.

I truly believe a unique strength is developed when you look inward and are willing to explore your story. So thank you in advance, for the work you are going to do.

Helping to find the hidden pieces

My hope is to help individuals explore their experiences of life and make connections to how they currently view the world or behave. This therapeutic journey is meant to help find the “why” you are the way you are, without judgement or blame. I aim to help find the hidden pieces of yourself, your past, and use those to shape your present and future.
